Life in Progress: New Developments for Q3 2026
Despite market uncertainty in Q1 & Q2,our development company has made solid progress in expanding our unconsented pipeline of sites.
We have secured 2 new parcels of land on STP agreements.Both of these sites are in high value GDV locations with good planning prospects.
As a result of increasing development costs particularly finance and build costs we have had to double down on only looking for sites in expensive residential locations.
There are a further 2 sites in legals and are also located in high value semi rural village locations where the LPA aren’t delivering enough housing.
Our first step upon securing a new site within a legal agreement is to instruct a pre app.These pre app site meetings with written feedback are a valuable source of knowledge that can be used to benefit the planning application.
Even though the overall economic climate is tough,we are seeing more opportunities in land and development than ever before.
